Our Homeland Security Secretary just testified to Congress. About the migration crisis on our southern border. She told us illegal immigration is “spiraling out of control”.
Many politicians said “Nah.” Many in Big Media said “Nah. No crisis. No emergency.” In their eyes, she lies.
She told us border guards will catch almost a million illegals at our border this year. A million! They do not catch them all. So certainly more than a million illegals will pour in. To join what may be as many as 21 million illegals who live in the country.
No crisis. Why should we worry? Exaggeration, for sure.
She described how the flow increases, month by month. In February we captured 30 percent more than last February. That is, we nabbed 73,000 illegals. In just one month.
Poppycock. How can we call this a crisis?
We catch over 2000 illegals per day. We caught 268,000 since the start of the fiscal year. “We face a crisis,” the secretary said. “A real, serious and sustained crisis at our borders. We have tens of thousands of illegal aliens arriving at our doorstep every month. We have drugs, criminals and violence spilling into our country every week.”
Rubbish. What a liar. What BS she spews.
Thousands of these illegals are children. They are unaccompanied. Small armies of illegals arrive on buses from Guatamala.
Yeah, yeah. One politician called this a “non-existent emergency”. Non-existent.
Guards caught 700 illegals in one day at the El Paso sector of the border. Apprehensions of migrant families in that area are up 1700 percent year-to-year.
Nah. It’s a “manufactured crisis”. Countless politicians and television commentators parroted that term. A “manufactured crisis”.
Border officials estimate over 100,000 migrant women will be raped on their way to the U.S. this year. And 2600 illegals will be murdered along the way.
Nah. The crisis does not exist. Trump is a liar. The Secretary is a liar.
After she testified, I visited websites of news organizations. FoxNews detailed the Secretary’s testimony. Other networks virtually ignored it on their sites. I read that they skimmed over her testimony during their telecasts. One failed to mention it.
So…we had a cabinet official present data that clearly outline a crisis on our southern border. She testified before Congress in dramatic fashion. And Big Media basically ignored her. Because, after all, she’s Trump’s cabinet officer. And if evil Trump said there is an emergency then we must ignore her. We cannot admit that S.O.B. might be right.
While on the news sites I counted their articles concerning our president. CNN carried 41 articles that criticized President Trump. Yes, 41 anti-Trump articles. And zero pro-Trump pieces.
MSNBC carried 36 articles that criticized Trump. And 1 article that did not. At ABC’s site the tally was 7 to 1. At CBS it was 5 to 1. At NBC it was 8 to 0.
Ahh, but Tom, we know that FoxNews carries water for Trump. Right. Fox featured 7 articles favorable to our president and 1 that was not.
Every day is different, of course. But 41 to 0 at CNN is sickeningly telling. We all know the President calls CNN fake news. He claims it is a propaganda wing of the Democratic Party. He claims MSNBC is not far behind.
Do you think he might be onto something? It should be no surprise, then, to learn that 99 percent of CNN viewers believe Trump lied about conspiracy with Russia.
Yes, my ARE WE CRAZY??? file is fat this week. If we cannot see that we have a crisis on our border, we are crazy. And if we think for a moment that CNN and MSNBC are not left-wing propaganda machines we are nuts.
As Daniel Patrick Moynihan said “Everyone is entitled to his own opinion, but not to his own facts.” Those border and website figures are facts.
